Summary

A big week for Monogram Tools: two tools replaced by better versions, one tool gained image-prompt looping, and a new Getting Started guide went live.

  • Logo & SVG Cleanup replaces the old Logo to SVG and Clean up SVG tools, combining both into one place with black, white, recolored and full-color cuts plus batch SVG shrinking that runs entirely in the browser.
  • Deck Studio gets its own full product page, replacing the old Slidev page, with a walkthrough video, examples and an at-a-glance summary.
  • Image Prompt Refiner is removed as a standalone tool; its looping behavior is now built into Prompt Studio, which scores each image round against your brief or reference art and rewrites the prompt to close the gap.
  • A new /guide page is live, covering sign-in options, workspaces, tools, Atlas, inviting teammates, guest links and how to get help.
  • Tools are regrouped into new categories across the site: Design, Create, AI & research, Team and Sharing.

What's new with Monogram Tools, the week of September 21 to September 28.

This was a big week. Two tools were replaced by better ones, a third tool absorbed a feature from a tool that is now gone, and a brand-new guide page went live for people just getting started.

Let's start with the biggest structural change. The old Logo to SVG tool and the old Clean up SVG tool are both gone. In their place is a single tool called Logo and SVG Cleanup. It does both jobs. Drop in a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or AVIF of a logo and it comes back as clean vector in four cuts: solid black, solid white, recolored in your accent, and full color. Already have SVGs? Switch to the SVG Cleanup mode, run a whole batch through it, and nothing gets uploaded because it all runs in your browser. Export to SVG, PNG, JPG or WebP at one times up to four times. The page says a real icon set came out at under half its original size with nothing visibly changed.

Next, Deck Studio. It had a page before, but a minimal one. The new page is a full product page with a twenty-seven-second video, a how-it-works walkthrough, real examples with inputs and outputs, and an at-a-glance table. The pitch is simple: write one sentence about the deck you need, and Deck Studio writes the slides, lays them out, and sets them in your workspace's colors and typeface. You edit the markdown with a preview beside it, or you type what you want changed and it lands. When you are done, publish a link or export a PDF. Edit after sending and republish, and the same link shows the new version.

Third: Prompt Studio now handles image prompt looping on its own. The standalone Image Prompt Refiner tool has been removed. The Prompt Studio page now says that for image prompts, each round is scored against what you asked for or against reference images if you add some, told what is missing, and rewritten to close the gap. You watch the rounds side by side. That capability used to live in a separate tool. Now it is one place.

Fourth, and useful if you are new: there is now a Getting Started guide at the slash-guide address. It covers the three ways to sign in, which are an emailed code or link, a passkey using your face or fingerprint or device unlock, and Google or Microsoft where your workspace has it turned on. It explains workspaces, how the tool grid works, what Atlas does, how to invite teammates, how guest links work for people outside your workspace, and where to go for help. It is a quick reference, not a long manual.

Finally, the site reorganized how tools are grouped. The categories now are Design, Create, AI and research, Team, and Sharing. Logo and SVG Cleanup, Backdrop Generator, Social Cards and Themes sit under Design. Deck Studio, Mermaid to PNG, PDF Maker and Demo Video Generator are under Create. AEO Audit, Prompt Studio, Knowledge Base, Journey and Skill Library are under AI and research. Link Shortener, Secrets, Secret Note and Share are under Sharing. Ballots, Resources and Tool Catalog are under Team. The tools themselves did not change, just where they are grouped.

That is everything for the week of September 21 to September 28. Find all of it at tools dot monogram dot io.
